First install of BrightSign Connected
The first thing that you need to do is download BrightSign connected.

Once on this page select BrightAuthor: connected either windows or Mac. You can also use the online version through your web browser. This can be found here. https://www.brightsignnetwork.com/public/registration.aspx
Both have the same interface. these instructions are for a guide for signing up to BrightSign Connected.
On the application BrightSign connected it will ask you to sign in. Once the popup box appears enter a valid email. Then enter your First name, Second name. Then enter a password and then confirm the password.
Local Content only
Once in the software it is not critical to register a network if you are using this on Local network ( No License).
BSN Cloud & BSN Content.
If you now click on the Admin Tab, in here you can select a New network. This is important for Cloud control. Click on this and you will ask for a network name. This name is important when ordering licenses. So, when make a network if you are inviting other people to the network then please name it something you can all relate to.
Once you have your network name you are almost ready to go. Head back to Admin tab and you can select a 30-day free trial. This will help until you get your licenses, you can get a 30-day free trails for one player. Once the 30 days are up you will lose your publishing ability but gives you time to get a license in place.
Now you are up and running. You can now start to upload you content. Also, you can head to the Admin Tab again and go to User management. Here you can add a user, and they will receive an email to sign up.
Once they are in, they will see the Network name that you originally set up and they will have access to the same content and functions assuming they are also an Admin.
