Doorbird, Unifi and Sonos.
There is a probably
a broadcast storm issue, crippling your network, since Sonos, incredibly, still
uses a very old / non-standard implementation of STP that is causing the
issues. The fix for this is relatively simple. You must, for all your switches, use STP instead of RSTP. This may interact
with the DoorBird devices, as the use of RTSP or disabling is recommended here.
Here I would recommend disabling STP on the individual ports where DoorBird
devices are connected. To do this, proceed according to the Unifi
homepage as follows:
How to Disable/Enable Spanning Tree Protocol Per
Switch Port
1. In the UniFi
Network application, go to the UniFi Devices section and click on the
switch that you wish to disable/enable STP on an individual switch port,
opening the Switch Properties Panel.
2. Navigate to
Ports in the Properties Panel. Select the switch port, and click Edit Selected,
or hover over the switch port and click Edit.
3. Click Profile
Overrides, and toggle Enable Spanning Tree.
