How to do a firmware update on an Anthem MRX*40 series

MRX Series Firmware Update

On the front of the unit, press the Menu button and use the dial to scroll down to System Info- then use the select button. The firmware (release) version should be listed on screen.

The current firmware version is 00.80 (for the 4k version). If you have a MRX740 or MRX1140 with an 8k board, the most up-to-date firmware is HD.80.

How to update

Open a browser and type the IP address of your MRX into the search bar. You will then get to a menu that looks like the below image.

Click on the Anthem at the top left of the screen, where you will be able to find the current MCU version.

Then click on the Store/Load/update at the bottom of the list on the left. Make sure that automatic updates are enable, then click check for updates.

If you find that no update is available and your MRX is not on the current firmware version found on make sure the IP of your MRX is set to DHCP rather than a static IP and try again.
