Icron Ranger 2311 or 2312 - No power at LEX

If you are deploying Icron Ranger 2311 or 2312 USB extenders where the LEX is not powering on, it's important to know that the LEX's will not power up unless they are connected to a USB host device, in addition to the main power connection which can be over the ethernet cable (with the PSU at the REX) or with the PSU directly at the LEX.

While not specifically covered in documentation, this is normal behavior that can sometimes be disguised as a defect if you notice no power lights while installing, but before the host devices are powered up.
